How do I measure the moment of inertia for some piece with the rotating disc and photogate assembly?

I already have the angular accelerations using different masses, recorded with LoggerPro.
But the results of the calculation are confusing, I guess I've misunderstood some part of the theory. How is the moment of inertia different each time?
