Depends how much collateral is acceptable. Assuming none, then I would probably bet on following them around and learning their schedule. Figure out where they eat and what they do on a daily basis. If they like to get a coffee every day, I would start showing up around the same time, pretending me and him have the same name. Hide a packet of some tasteless poison in my hand, there are many for a hot beverage like coffee for a sleepy man, and grab it "thinking it was mine" dropping the poison inside. He sees me go for it and let's me know it is his. I apologize and give it back to him, joking about our names.
