Some of the guys i know get a girl for some time, go several years without and eventually get them again
On the other hsnd people i know that are in constant relationships are outside of social circles of people like me and conversely.
Either they stay lonely for really short amounts of time or really long, including always. So i can imagine thay if you have lived your life like that from 14 yo then you could not imagine it the other way. But desu i think her job is kinda meme and most of what she is spewing comes from her personal perspective, not expertise.
