>>11707621>>11710393>tfw you have a really abstract web of concepts and interrelationships between those concepts that only you can understand because it didn't arise out of inner dialogue or visualization but simply pure conceptual thoughtOnly it's like that for every thought really. Though when you see someone put into words these similar abstract ideas to your own it's always interesting because they managed to find the right words to describe something you recognize but never brought to written or spoken form not even in your mind.
But it can be annoying to try to explain anything because you arrived to your conclusions via feelings and sensations and thinking in concepts without their associated symbols like words and pictures and to then have to distil that to something you can communicate to others via dialogue feels like it takes a lot of effort especially the more abstract a concept is, language is too limiting but no one is a mind reader.
This is how we get to the phenomenon of one language having specific defined words for concepts and ideas that are absent a word in another language despite sharing the same concept/idea in its culture too
https://hifisamurai.github.io/lexicography/Anyways at this point of time I'm now capable of all three types of mentation - unsymbolized, inner monologue and visualization and am thus capable of being distracted by my brain twice as much as before than when I used to think only exclusively unsymbolized, without using any inner voice even for reading, and was damn near aphantasic.
Unsymbolized is great for an almost distraction free mind and speed and depth of thought. Now I wonder what the neural correlates are for this method of thinking, I suspect its reduced DMN activity but no one has really studied this.
