My experience of ssri's (200mg sertraline per day for 6 years) has been that it's permanently eliminated feelings like nostalgia. I haven't taken any drugs in over a year and still the "bad" emotions are blunted (I can hardly feel anything and have to meditate for a long time just to remember what feelings felt like).

Is this a universal experience for ssri's? Are they meant to make you a robot that can't feel certain emotions anymore, only able to feel instant happiness / gratification? Because they tell you that things like the 100% chance of sexual side effects are only a minority of people when literally everyone has their dick numbed to some degree, and they're never going to conduct a study around something loosely-defined like "nostalgia". I am emotionally retarded because I don't have the same anxieties I had when I was a kid I don't have any feelings in my chest anymore.
