Although cells fix/replace themselves, so I don't think it's a compelling argument. Unless the process of cells replacing themselves can get worn out itself. I don't know, I'm not a bio person.
I do know that running it bad for you if you do it too often, don't wear proper shoes, etc.
Does anyone know what determines whether a repeated action benefits or harms the body? If you were an avid runner, is there anything biological that determines whether your knees get fucked up by 50, or if your knees get stronger or are unaffected?
