The more skill you have on a task, the less you overestimate your own ability, but the worst performers still rate themselves lower than everyone else rates themselves. The meme that the least experienced think they're the best isn't accurate, instead they think they're about average.
Or you know, you could just read the fucking paper. There's a nice graph in the first 3 pages that illustrates the findings of the experiment.
