This has literally never factored into my decision that the multiverse hypothesis has credibility. Even in near infinite universe that person wouldn't be "me". In fact mathematical chaos, or the butterfly effect in popsci, would absolutely, in my mind, mean that that person would not be me. In fact I think it's very unlikely that in an alternative universe there would be someone with my exact DNA, or it's even if man as we know it would have evolved at all. I definitely have never considered being a billionaire in another timeline because that person fundamentally would be a different person. Plus I would never know. That's not really why multiverses interest me. I'm interested by their implications in the anthropic principle, and how our biases make us think that seemingly miraculous natural phenomena are common place, when they are probably an extreme rarity of our universe. I don't care about hypothetical wealth or careers in a multiverse, you are very narrow minded.
