The government never promised you, in writing or otherwise, that you can leave your house no matter what danger it poses to others.
You're just spoiled because you've never know actual oppression.
This isn't much different from curfews or mandatory evacuations.
If you _had_ such a right, you could quote the applicable law, but you don't, Karen.
>>11701563>the measures currently are justifiable, but must not stay isln place forever.Yes, and I addressed that here:
>>11701492>Nobody really wants these rules. They're just necessary for the height of the crisis, and are already being gradually lifted despite the continued high death toll....and here:
>>11701548>Oh, I'm sure you believe half the government was just desperate for the context of a quarantine to launch their new fascist regime.>That's the tinfoil talking, just relax and go read historical accounts of previous pandemics.>The Nazi's didn't rise to power in 1918.>>11701563>begging for 1984?...and even more tinfoil.
>>11701565>twotter cap he posted is basically 'accept authority no matter what' Not even close. I'm pointing out they're both shouting "the sky is falling" because I said it's raining, but probably just today.
I don't share their fears of a neofascist movement among world powers because of quarantine orders.
Especially ironic since the rise of white nationalism in America and Europe and consolidation of power by Putin and Xi are far more realistic concerns regarding the actual rise of neofascism, despite most of the new would-be fascist dictators down-playing and sugar-coating the pandemic.
