I just finished my freshman electrical engineering year and i failed 5 classes so far (Calculus, Algebra, Chemistry, Strenght of Materials and Multivariable Calculus / Complex analysis), and it's very possible that i will fail Physics and Circuits too. What do i do? I don't wanna give up, i want to be an engineer but when i look at the material we get from school i don't understand anything. Everything seems so advanced and i get discouraged when i try to study, i admit i didn't tried that hard because of this.
I feel like i'm missing concepts from way back, i didn't studied through high school and middle school, i always did the easy problems so i could get the lowest grade that would have me pass that class, and go back to my video games. I never wanted to be the best and now i regret it.
Now i'm asking for help, what books i could read? I tried "Basic Math" by Lang, i something with more applied concepts and less proofs if it's possible.
