It's interesting how humans can 'make choices' according to our understanding of consciousness but most likely don't have free-will due to environmental factors influencing these choices completely, yet particles which have this innate randomness in their actions could be said to have free will in the sense that their nature isn't influenced by the environment due to such randomness, yet they don't have the opportunity to make choices like humans.
