Have your time stolen with extra curriculum activities
Expect to work 60-80 hours a week for first 3 years
Constantly walk on eggshells, be very careful what you say. Say as little as possible. Ten years of that and you will become as mediocre, mindless and as boring as the other staff
Never be alone with a student under any circumstances otherwise you risk accusations of impropriety.
Expect to work through all those "holidays" people seem to think you take over school breaks.
If you have to, then try at least to get into a private school.
Best solution: Just dont.
