Great movie, gets the noggin joggin'

Two questions

1: How could the weeble have experienced years of box time in a few real time days when a human has to spend the full amount of subjective time just to make one trip from the B end to the A end?

2: How could the trip curve parabolically when that would require being in the box longer than it's been on to make the same trip relative to the straight line in took to get from A > B in the first place?
