30yo baldlet here. You’ll freak out for about 4 months when you realize you’re balding faster than you expected. Then if you aren’t a complete loser quickly realize it’s not a big deal and you weren’t relying on your looks anyways. A cope yada yada I know. Seriously, going bald and keeping my hair short probably affects my life negatively maybe by about 1%.

Baldness correlates with DHT, which SLIGHTLY corrleates with actual T. Which correaltes with IQ (at least in men).
So yeah. Bald people are probably higher IQ on AVERAGE by a point or two.

How you look affects your interactions with other people as well as your self-perception. I think looks actually end up playing a pretty large role in how others judge your character and stuff too, strangely enough. I started losing my hair at 14 so I was pretty fucked over by all of this and it basically ruined my adolescence, but taking estrogen and antiandrogens followed by an orchiectomy seems to have halted/partially reversed the problem, and I’m saving up for a hair transplant to fill in the remainder. Anything is better than being bald, I would literally rather be dead.

I don’t think being bald is a big deal anon. Shave your head and people don’t really treat you any different. Maybe people you know might be surprised for a second but it’s like #200 on concerns of people that aren’t you.
