>>11690615The theory for fusion is solid. Engineering im sure theres a practical solution to manufacture but i dont think tokemaks are the way to go due to the amount of engineering involved to contain the heat and radiation that also gets irradiated.
If it can be possible to make one small and efficient and all that, its probably going to take a unique feat of engineering we haven't found yet. Have been promising resuls with high powred lazers on metamaterial cores recently i heard. Could be worth exploring but for now, harvesting energy directly from the sun will be something we will be doing as a species for millennia in the future so wise to get in early on that
