Why do humans remember music so well, yet lack in other departments?

Pic related. I can completely play the song in my head after just 5 times of listening to it and partially just after one. My memory is shot when I try that with speech though.

You kid yourself if you think you actually memorized the song, you simply trick yourself into thinking that whatever it is you're playing in your head matches the song perfectly, while you can't pull the same trick with precise information like a written speech. Proof: write it out in a musical notation

That's individual. Some people can recite speech word by word after hearing it once. Visuospatial memory is typically the strongest, I think. (which is why people use that "memory palace" technique)

Yeah, I admit that I miss few strings and beats there even when I focus but it really more accurate than written word. Also, I don't remember the tone or the pitch of the speaker unlike with songs.

I don't have perfect memory but it's way better with music.

Most songs have 1-2 main repetitive parts which are fairly easy to remember but I guarantee you won't be able to recreate every single beat or sub beat.
You like songs better if they connect to you emotionally in some way.
