As for common knowledge we can safely assume that maths is basic knowledge for any space faring civilisation, as unless they evolve other ways to perform space travel maths will be required for space travel.
As for technology we today have a difficult time accurately predicting what technology will be like in a hundred year. there's also the problem that with science being more widely taught and because of recent advancements like neural nets, A.I, quantum computing and other techniques that help science the rate of scientific progress is accelerating.
Humanity has only been around for roughly 70,000 years and science has only been around for 547 years and in that time we've accomplished technologies that people 300 years ago couldn't even imagine. If this remains true and other civilizations follow this rule then if we encounter an alien civilization a billion years ahead of us they be more akin to gods they another species.
