Yo address the first point, math is essentially a way of describing observed reality. Hypothetically an intelligent species in any universe could do the same, but their "math," might look fundamentally different. But ultimately 1+1=2 even if physics works backwards. The fundamentals will most likely be the same even if the equations change.
Secondly, it can be safely assumed that if the Universe is a flat geometry and space-time is inverted/reverted by singularity and anti-singularity (EG, Einsteinien cosmology), then math would work the same in all positive charged iterations of the "universe," as such, while being fundamentally reversed in Kerr singularity space-time and negative parallel Universes. In contrast, if the Universe has a closed geometry and other closed Universes exist, then by definition there is no way of knowing how math works in those Universes.
