If you search up any explanation of what the observer effect means there will be troves of people claiming it is just a confusion word for interaction. The measuring devise interacts with the electron which collapses the wave.
However, this has shown to not be the case. For example the single detector variation has a detector only on slit A. If an electron makes a mark on the board behind the slits and does not register on the detector, which way information can be determined by the process of elimination and you know it went through slit B. Electrons fired through slit B form a collapsed band pattern no a wave pattern, even though they had no extra interaction. The Quantum Eraser experiment also comes to the same conclusion.
So why do we see so many of these opinions from internet science communicators?
