>Chop up a little bit of tomato, onion, and bell pepper>Grate however much cheese you want>Take 4 eggs, whisk them together in a bowl>Put a generous amount of butter into a large pan, you want to make sure nothing sticks>Heat up the pan, then add the eggs>Once the eggs begin to react to the heat, add the cheese then vegetables on top in a line (don't use too much tomato or it will be soggy)Season to taste (salt, pepper, paprika, nutmeg, etc.)
>Make sure the heat isn't too high, and when it seems ready, roll it up (it doesn't have to be perfect, just do it, you'll later see why this thing doesn't even have to be structurally intact)This portion is called a Spanish omelette (looked it up and it's not the exact same, that's just what I remember my dad saying it was called)
Here's the part with salsa:
>Get the largest possible tortilla wrap, spread salsa on it lengthwise (ideally mild salsa, you don't want to ruin it by making it too spicy, the little bit of salsa just augments the flavour)>Place the Spanish omelette inside of it>Wrap it up by folding the bottom up first, then fold the sides over>you may need to use a second tortilla to make sure it doesn't leak and to cover the whole thingBon apétit, you will be satiated for at least 5 hours unless you're an American.
Pic related is mfw I eat une omelette du salsa. (There's a Dexter's Laboratory banner rn and I think it subliminally messaged me to make an "omelette du fromage" joke.)
