You want the alcohol pretty concentrated for disinfecting purposes, but the benzyl can be pretty dilute. Alcohol disinfects a lot faster (seconds) but benzyl takes a few minutes. I’d save the alcohol for disinfecting water sensitive stuff like your phone, since less likely to short something out, especially if you put it on a paper towel first. Or if you need a surface or skin rapidly disinfected. Benzyl for disinfecting more bulk surfaces that you can give a minute. Safe to mix but pointless and wasteful
