I'm just a kid with Adobe Illustrator, not an engineer (i've never had even an entry level CAD course)

I am sure there's probably an easy solution for a thing i'm trying to automate at work

How to I convert linear force to radial/torque force here?

Just this little highlighted bit in pic, i /knew/ there had to be some sort of simple solution here, that my mechanically-virgin eyes couldn't see.

Because of the range of rotation needed, i think it'd extend into that pink "Can't build here" area though.....

Much appreciated though. Going to try fleshing that out.....

Not a MechE, but I'd think a rack and pinion plus a bevel gear should do it
