Anyone refuse to take IQ tests?

I'm confident I'm between 130 and 145 just based on percentile, and if I had to guess I'd say 138. But I'm in my 30s now and can only see downsides to taking the test.
>Score higher than expected: I become even more cocky, entitles, and assume I can rely even more on my intellect rather than hard work.
>Score lower than expected: My self esteem takes a hit and I use it to rationalize my failures and inadequacies.
>Score what I expected: I feel vindicated but also disappointed I didn't have some secret potential beyond what I realized.
Why would I want to know. Sure I'm curious, but it seems like a trap. Why do you think they don't show kids their IQ results? We are just big kids after all.
