Hey /sci/. So I bought a screen protector for my new phone and it uses this UV light to cure it to the screen. Now that the screen is installed I don't have a use for the light. I was wondering how effective it would be for killing bacteria and viruses. After some googling I found out that it uses the UVA type of the spectrum, but I'm having difficulty finding information about how effective that is against "germs." Any information from biofags would be appreciated.
