30 year old Boomer who just picked studying Physics back up 12 years after high school.
What the f*ck does all this electricty stuff mean?
So there's Energy, which is equal to Force times distance, and then there's Force, which is some k constant times two charges divided by the square of the radius of the charges between them, following which there's charge, which is equal to Amperes times seconds, which then leads over to current which is measured in Amperes, or voltage divided by resistance, after which voltage is energy divided by charge, which just makes everything come back to itself.
So what exactly is what turns light bulbs on or makes my car's wheels spin?
I admit I'm probably not as smart as most of you, but I feel like all of these equations just feel like redundant non-explanations that are just there for each other's sake.
