>>11668628Seems like the best method in order to make AI is some sort of machine learning “brute force” method in which the AI has some sort of metric it needs to do in order to show consciousness and it will be done from interation over interation. that seems like the way AI will be developed. Same way many complicated algorithms are developed today. This just means we need a crazy amount of computing power and it probably can be done in a reasonable amount of time. We can probably do it right know if we had the computing power needed that we are 20 years from. Any other way seems unlikely since the way really complicated algorithms are going is we have no fucking idea how they work internally and it just seems as they get more complicated and even more so this trend will become more apparent.
