I'm paying for the education that will hopefully help me in my career. If I was taking my major courses (instead of prerequisites) that semester I would've felt shortchanged. But since I was just taking gen ed stuff, I don't really care.

Universities in Australia have been destroyed by Chinese foreign students, my university literally has a senior exec member who's sole job it is is to suck off the CCP, she gets paid some bullshit 6 digit salary with benefits to do this.

I just wish my PI would have told me I'm just not smart enough to take up a spot in his research lab instead of using the Chinese flu as a way to get rid of me. I was planning to change labs after the first week of joining but stuck it out because I started getting a hang of things (Lab was a very negative/lifeless environment). I did work hard. I stayed late to finish experiments and came in on weekends. It all boils down to just being more of a detriment to the lab than a benefit. Plus, the grad student I was working under returned to his home country. Now finding a new lab is even more difficult/impossible because of no uni.
