>>11665733I agree that P vs NP _should_ be solved soon. The reason it won't be is that 90% of trained CS people are sure the answer is P!=NP and if they are right, nothing changes. It's a lot of work to basically do nothing.
I am trained in CS, and I think about the problem occasionally, but I am not sure what it's going to take to solve it. All the usual CS approaches have been formally proven to not work. I think the math techniques we need already exist, but it is some kind of math we don't normally learn.
