Probably in a decade or two. Must say though that managing it has beeen made tons easier with cgm. Also things will get easier when good and small closed loop systems come

This can also cure AIDS but has only been done three times. It's completely impractical and dangerous. Type 1 diabetics would need inslet cell transplants in addition to the bone marrow transplants.
