Not a physicist and I'm so retarded about it that I can't even properly construct a free body diagram but my roommate is a physics mayor and after he's turned the problem in a purely mathematical one dealing with vectors and tensors, sometimes he asks me for help. As far as I understand from my limited exposure to the subject, treating space-time as a vector (t,x,y,z) is just a model to make calculations easier and doesn't actually mean that physicists think space is the same thing as time. If I'm wrong, would greatly appreciate it for someone to call me a stupid faggot and explain why I'm wrong.
