You failed ee because you probably were reading or listening without absorbing.
You need to think about what you're doing, rather than just someone that repeats patterns. If you don't have the ideal memory, pattern memorisation won't work so you have to do things more abstractly.
8hours a day of pissfarting around is not the same as 8hours of fully absorbing what you're learning by being immersed.
If you don't understand something it's because you're missing apart of the picture.
Others are bigger brained because they can see the full picture by simply proving a concept In their head. But these people are on the upper end of the spectrum.
The rest of us have to work hard until we reach a point where we can apply the concepts we know to all sorts of things.
Basically walk before you can run, but make sure you actually know everything about walking first.
