Anyone else have those things that they didn’t quite get school STEM concepts until after they finished uni? I just feel like a brainlet for not understanding it right the first time desu

No I mean electrons in the wire are pushing each other with the Coulomb force. The generator on one end moves magnets near coils, electrons in coils start wobbling, they wobble the electrons in the wire, and so on.

Im not 100% sure, but Photons are supposed to be the force carriers, transferring energy in packets. So when an electron gains energy and then falls back to the ground state, a photon is emitted and then absorbed by some other particle.
Or you could just say there is this thing called Coulomb force between any two charges

Well, like for instance x approaching 0 doesn’t means that any of x‘s in that set are actually equal to zero, it’s more that for a set of points arbitrarily close to zero a function of x will have a range of values close but never equal to the limit.

Yet when people said 1/x at x->0, it seems like 0 is somehow a valid input, at least to me.

I mean, isn’t this how people get all confused about 0.999999...=1?
