Is there inverse square law for sound?

Just found out the room next to mine has heard me being a degenerate and watching Seinfeld until 5am for a week straight but he thinks it's the guy downstairs. I must keep it this way.

I pulled the TV off the wall and moved it about a meter from the wall, what's the dB fall-off on something like this?
