Forces are interactions, meaning each of the two bodies experiences a force in the gravitational field of the other.
E.g. for earth, one of the masses would be that of earth, which is encoded (together with other constants) in g.
The second mass (the one of the falling object) then drops out through F=ma.

so if you consider an object with 2m:
Fgrav2 = G M 2m / r^2 = 2 * Fgrav1

I think this is because force is a vector. No matter how massive an object is the acceleration due to gravity in one direction is the same (in Newton's world). F = Gm1m2/d^2 is Newton's universal gravitation formula and it simplifies to F = mg when you assume d is the radius of the earth and m1 is the mass of the earth.

If you keep raising the mass of the object, it will keep accelerating with standard 9.81 m/s^2. But eventually you'll be able to measure the Earth accelerating towards the object. In principle Earth accelerates towards a falling apple, but since it's the same force the apple experiences, but acting on a whole planet, the acceleration is effectively 0.
