Recently posted a new way of solving problems in terms of methods already existing. Literally the first comments were "wow you just learned <insert standard problem solving techniques that don't suffice for the problem at hand> you must feel proud."

I think there is a correlation between not actually understanding a problem and lack of intelligence. Basically this amounts to the dunning kruger effect.
