I have made some research and found out that our genes can switch depending on the environment. All the factors urge your brain to switch your genes so your best catered to the environment. Survival of the fittest, not strongest

So my question is - can we control that somehow? I'm only 160cm tall and I'd really like to grow. Can we for example urge our body to produce more growth hormone or open the growth plates? Or can we edit these genes with technologies such as CRISPR / prime editing. If it's not possible I will probably inject growth hormone to myself before it's too late. Any suggestions would be awesome
