Hello /sci/, since I've been a small child I've always had the desire to become a scientist.

However now that I've almost finished my first year of uni I'm starting to have doubts.
Every single professor I've met or otherwise person in the field has just seemed to me to be hateful.
They always make the kind of snarky comments that come from people that are deeply frustrated with the world.

Am i inevitably going to become so bitter if I pursue a career in science? I didn't sign up for this.
