I seriously think his Introduction to Linear Algebra to be the best - alas the most correct introductory book on the subject.
The part were he proves the dot product-cosine relation using basic geometry and says that literally everyone got the shit wrong and uses the cosine law to prove it, which is wrong because it also derives from the same geometric properties of the relation and thus should be considered more as equal results other than one being the proof of the other.
Writing this, I understand he could be confusing and a bit anal...
