If you can follow basic instructions and generally aren't a fuck-up then yes. Labs are usually designed by the department or a lab coordinator, not individual professors. So they're all pretty cookie-cutter in terms of instrcution and what you're expected to do. Professors often consider lectures 'their' classes and design them the way they want including pace, level of detail, number of exams/quizzes, etc. There can often be wide variation in lectures by different professors while labs are pretty much consistant.
The only people I've ever seen struggle in labs are those who can't read instructions and do what they're told. If you can bake a cake, you're probably going to be fine at lab.
