In all seriousness though, why would a creature need more than two legs and two arms in it's peak evolutionary form?
Spiders could navigate with three moving legs/arms>
Centipedes could navigate smoother if they operated like snakes or worms rather than have a million tiny legs.
Starfish already have five arms/legs that could be minimized to four or three if they learned to bend them rather than have a million tiny toes within to crawl.
Jellyfish, squid and other creatures alike to evolve to have a lower number of wider tentacles that allow them to propel within water and defend themselves with.
crabs could jump with two strong hind legs rather than a handful of small legs that make them move sideways.
extra legs/arms are inefficient usage of physical anatomy that could be spent on stronger muscles in less, why aren't creatures evolving to have less?
