Microbiologist here, got to do fieldwork. Was doing seasonal work for the USDA. Shit was cash, perdiem, paid lodging and a government truck to explore all over AZ. I loved it. Go to brush up on my botany, astronomy, and geology during my surveys. Currently working for a startup in the city now. Depending how things go I may just go back to the USDA and apply for a permanent position with them, I miss me some field work.

Also Forest Service bros are the best. Stay hydrated and safe out there.
