>>11642923Ethnicity is real when based on intrabreeding groups, and has led to the different phenotypes across the world. There are clear genetic markers shared by closely related groups, and given your DNA accurate predictions on your heritage can be made. In a few generations there will be several "American" ethnicities (North Eastern, South Eastern, South Western, etc). However it is important to keep in mind that Ethnicity is a gene/phenotypical spectrum that slowly varies as you move geographically with no real hard dividing lines. Irish are relared to Scots who are related to the Anglos, who are realred to the Dutch, etc etc all the way to those related to the South East Asian and native North American people groups.
The idea of 5 or 6 distinct "Races" (Caucasian, Persian, Indian, African, Asian, Aboriginal, and American) with hard dividing lines is not real.
