This only works if you're in a non-paraconsistent logic. Remember though that the universe is paraconsistent and dialetheism is true, so you have to think about these things differently.

It would be if C comes with logical necessity from P1 and P2 (whoever composed that, thought that P1 and P2 form a contradiction and using a contradiction anything can be proven true). However P1 and P2 are not necessarily a contradiction. Simply consider that the set of grass is the empty set (there is no grass). Then both P1 and P2 can be true at the same time and that means that one cannot derive C (if P1 and P2 couldn't be true at the same time yet they were, then one could derive C)
