Does Blade runner have it right? Like we want to achieve a sentient AI for sexbot waifus but are humans really as free thinking as we imagine? Think about it, we build out personas up from experience and memory and our core coding is our biology and emotional response. If a correctly structured ai could simulate emotional responses and you planted memories or just let it exist long enough, wouldn’t it basically be the same as a human, except less flawed because it would have perfect memory and whatever traits you gave it. Even iq would be adjustable. I mean you would need caps and limiters in place so your waifubot wouldnt become a transcendent AI god but thats easy just dont give them the wifi password.
