I know both physics and math reasonably well, and i have no idea how to start to model something using diff eqns. I know they heurestic derivations of some of these equations, but there should be another kind of intuition into the equations for someone to understand that at least for some cases, the equation gives solutions that are not off with the physical intution or the inuition behind whatever you are modeling.
