How good or bad are german universities in general and especially for STEM subjects?
I have been thinking about studying chemistry, medicine, CS or computer engineering, but have been wondering whether I should stay here or rather pack my stuff and move abroad to some place like the Netherlands, Belgium or Sweden for my studies to place with less run down universities and where the first few semesters aren't extra hard solely to reduce the student body to a number the underfunded departments can handle.
