We live in three easily observable and measurable dimensions, length, width, and height. However there’s also time, which is also observable, and measurable but harder for me to understand in the same way. Take something simple like a box. With a ruler we can easily determine it is precisely .75 meters by .5 meters by .6 meters. And those measurements will describe it accurately no matter what. How do we do the same with time? Do we compare it to the age of the universe? It would fluctuate depending on where in the universe it was located, no?
