If they are occuring for no explainable reason, simply happening while sitting, you might need to see a doctor. If its just one every now and then its possible you are encountering posterior vitrius detachment and its ever so slightly tugging on your retina. If this is the case you will probably be ok but if you get signs of retina detachment (suddenly losing part of your periphrial vision to a blackness) you need to call an eye doctor immediately as you have 24 hours to get it fixed. It would also be a good idea to be monitored if it is posterior vitrius detachment anyway but due to the current pandemic its your call.
If however you are seeing a whole lot of them suddenly id make an appointment to get examined as soon as possible.
