They didn't see it with their eyes or normal cameras.
Either those new radar/infrared systems work really well or really badly.
I'd say its a combination of optical phenomena and software glitches. Orbs and sprites always appear in small high powered infrared cameras. And theres always a spike in reports when they get these new systems.
Still fun to dream.

I'd believe that if it was moving with them, but since one of the videos shows it hovering in one place regardless of where they go, and then suddenly shooting off, it doesn't make much sense to be a glitch.

yeah how ever, but if the camera perceive some sort of ray emission strangely you cant call it an optical fail. Its no fail in the optics at all.

Determining the speed of the object requires you to figure out the speed of the camera and how far away the object is from the camera. None of these videos show enormous speeds if you actually do the analysis. Some just look fast due to parallax.

It doesn't though. You get glare like this from zooming in on an object very far away. It's not due to high levels of infrared. So yes, it's definitely an optical error.
