That is interesting to add to my knowledge of genetic history. I had read something about "the third lost homo in africa" but very little in detail.

Yup. The interbreeding with ghost hominids (probably closer to H. naledi) happened only in the humans that stayed in Africa. Interbreeding with Denisovans and Neanderthals happened with humans that left Africa.
